flying

This afternoon, I headed up to Edmonton to help out Ash’s brother Jeremy, whose car was stuck down here in Calgary. I was there for no more than an hour, 45 of those minutes at the airport and then flew back home. Just something to do on a Sunday afternoon. I wanted to share a couple of pictures showing the contrast of the two journeys. It is roughly 300kms so it takes a good 2.5 to 3 hours driving without stopping. Coming home took me 45 mins flying in my WestJet bird. The latter was definitely a lot easier.

Above you can see what the drive is all about. Just one long straight road, through the prairies. Flying back is not only quicker but just that little bit more scenic. See for yourself and let me know what you would prefer…
